IOT is currently on the threshold of acquiring a majority stake in the Kazakhstan-based company Kazakhstan Caspi Shelf (KCS). The company has an excellent PTR record of over 18 years and is responsible for the completion of more than 200 projects across CIS countries and India.

This acquisition presents IOT with the opportunity to successfully compete in higher entry-barrier projects that include desert and mountainous terrain as well as shallow water and offshore locations.

IOT will also be looking to expand its service offerings and has set up a state-of-the-art data processing center in Gurgaon. Our processing services add value to the current acquisition, thus highlighting IOT Upstream’s capabilities in providing demanding geo-physical services. Data interpretation services will also be added as part of our bouquet of services in the near future.
